What They Don’t Want You to See

The 2015 Federal election was marked by the return of the Liberals to power and the beginning of a new Trudeau era. Nonetheless, in the 2011 Federal election, after being limited to just 34 seats in parliament and despite having 18.9% of the popular vote, the Liberal party had to make major changes internally. After electing Justin Trudeau to the party’s leadership in 2013, they transformed themselves into a real progressive movement by taking a strong stand on economic and social issues. The Liberals are counting on this progressive shift to help them remain in power in the upcoming election as Canadian voters are about to decide if they have earned the right for a second mandate.
