Last month we featured an article by Karen Laprade on maintaining family harmony when sharing ownership and time at a family cabin. The Value of Values is part of a series which deals with family dynamics. In this article, Karen discusses the importance of communicating your values to yourself and your family. This process is important when discussing wealth and legacy with family members.
 
In our client survey which we completed in the spring of 2016, many clients noted they would like access to tools to help with holding family meetings and maintaining family harmony while dealing with wealth.

Conflict is a normal part of life. It should not surprise us, then, that conflict may be a normal part of the end of our lives. When we die, we leave our family and friends to deal with a state of affairs that a mix of emotions, personal relationships, and money.
