Welcome to the December edition of our monthly newsletter. As you are no doubt busy preparing for the holiday season, we are busy ensuring that all of the considerations surrounding the end of another tax year are handled on your behalf. We would like to take this opportunity to point out a couple of housekeeping matters:
Holiday office hours
December 23rd is the last trading day in Canada and the U.S. for equity market transactions to settle in 2016; markets close at 1 pm PST. Canadian and U.S. markets will be closed December 26th and January 2nd. Canadian markets are also closed on December 27th.
The Jefferson|Steele office will be closed from 1 pm on December 23rd through January 2nd, returning on January 3rd. We will have staff available for contact by phone during that week at our regular numbers, should you have an urgent matter.

CRM2 In January, as per regulatory requirements, you will receive new reports for each account you hold with us. These reports will be provided annually and are separate from and in addition to your statement of account which details your holdings and activity during the period.
