- Clients like the name “The Independent Source”, and most are aware that the team creates the content for the newsletter.
- There is an appetite to have more content on emerging trends in the investment world, such as blockchain and artificial intelligence, and how this could impact investors.
- Clients would like to see more articles on tax and estate planning, market updates, and practical tips on managing wealth.
- Clients would like to see less book reviews.
- Most clients are happy receiving the newsletter on a monthly basis.

Read full article Bear Beta The S&P 500 has just completed its best reporting season in a heck of a long time, with growth in earnings of 25% and sales of 10%. It’s hard to complain. Not to be outdone, the TSX is on track to post 20% earnings growth and 16% sales growth. Bond yields, while higher relative to the past half decade, remain somewhat contained in a range that the market appears to be comfortable with. The global economy continues to grow at a decent pace and this growth is very broad based. This is the ‘glass half full’ side of the current macro picture.
