HOLIDAY MESSAGE
Every day we are reminded of our good fortune, through the relationships we have with such a dynamic and enjoyable group of clients. We are often touched and motivated by the kind and selfless acts we witness on a daily basis; by the time, energy, and the variety of ways our clients devote to making the world a better place. This year, in the spirit you inspire, each of our team members has worked to contribute both time and financially to causes about which we are passionate, and we would like to dedicate these efforts to you who inspire us. As a team, we raised funds for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation under Tyler`s leadership; many of our clients contributed to JDRF as well, for which we are most grateful. Tyler is also a supporter of the Canadian Cancer Society. We also continue to support two aspiring Canadian Olympic Athletes, Nikola Girke and Luke Ramsay, in their quest for Gold in Rio in 2016. You can keep up with their program here: www.NikAndLuke.com For Brenda, a favorite cause is the Terry Fox Foundation. She and her family participate in the Terry Fox Run in her community and at her children`s school every September.
Paul and his wife Sonja support Mercy Ships, a floating hospital that provides surgeries that you and I take for granted to parts of the world that are less fortunate. Wendy`s favourite cause is the Greater Vancouver Food Bank. Neil participated in “Movember” this November to help raise awareness of Men’s Health issues such as prostate and testicular cancer. With the support of colleagues, friends and family, Neil was recognized as a Platinum Club Member for his fundraising efforts. Neil also supports the BC Children’s Hospital. Jessica focuses on the BC SPCA on an ongoing basis through the PAW Plan. She also fundraised and participated in the Paws for a Cause... Walk for the Animals. Dwight has continued to support the final year of the AGUDESA Microfinance Project in Guatemala through Worldvision, and the Canucks Autism Network, which provides support to families living with the challenges of autism. Dwight & Tyler both support the Vancouver Holocaust Education Centre. Again, we would like to dedicate our efforts to our inspiring group of clients.
