When Kendel Carson and Dustin Bentall opened the show with Tragically Hip’s Bobcaygeon, I knew it was going to be a night to remember!

The Cariboo Express musicians played familiar favourites from previous years as well as a number of songs from Barney’s new album, The Drifter and The Preacher.

Regardless of your musical style preference, the experience of being in that room with their energy and passion for music is entirely different than listening to any album at home (no matter how good your stereo is!). The old-fashioned radio hour format delighted the crowd as numerous sponsors of the show were familiar, introduced through Jefferson | Steele Partners.

We have worked very hard this year to help increase the amount of money the concert raised for Potluck Café Society, and we are so pleased to report to you that the concert raised $62,965!! That’s a 35% increase over last year’s amount, a huge success! We are so grateful to everyone who bought tickets to the show and those who made donations in support of Potluck’s work.
